Bob James at the JazzIs Bistro

Bob James played at the JazzIs Bistro located at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood Florida. This is a smaller club with a nice atmosphere. Around the stage are tables, and they serve food and drinks. From what Bob was saying during the show, he helped to launch this club.
Pictures and video were taken with a Sony V1. Click on each picture to make it bigger, then back to return here. There wasn't much light to work with, so many of the pictures are out of focus.

Sax Solo.
A nice picture of the entire band. Here you can get an idea of the tables around the stage. There really isn't a bad seat in the house.
Bob played two shows on this night, the first one started at 07:00pm and the 2nd one at 09:30pm. While he only played 7 songs, each one was filled with solos. I was at the 2nd show.
In picture 1 is Win Polley standing with Bob James after the show. Win is a co-worker of mine and a huge fan. That's me in picture 2. And there's a nice picture of Bob standing by himself.
A couple videos to view. Right click on each one, and then click Save As or Save Target File and download them to your hard drive. Again, there wasn't much light to work with, so the camera goes out of focus a few times, and there are lines in the picture. But the sound comes out great, and that's what matters.

This is a fairly large video, 09:34. Bob solos back and forth with the drums instead of the bass on this one.

Here's the last song of the night. Bob played a beautiful solo in the middle with the lights dimmed.
What can I say? The show was amazing. The sound was great. Food and drinks were awesome. Go see him.
