Johnny's New Years Eve Party

Johnny had a New Years Eve Party and Robert played keyboards. There were many rehearsals leading up to this day.

Here's the band and a couple shots of me. This band is named Stampede and plays country music, . From left to right is George Hammond (guitar/vocals), Johnny Jarrell (drums), Janeen Summey (vocals), Byron Hammond (bass), Lori Bush (vocals), and Robert Viands (keyboards).
More pictures of the band. In the 2nd picture up above you see George, Byron, and Johnny together. The 3 of them and myself make up a band called the Hammond Brothers. George plays the guitar and sings lead vocals.
Now for some fun. David, Andy, and Willie took the stage with Johnny and myself. This is a rock band. We didn't rehearse, just played tunes we had done 2 years ago. I didn't even know Willie was going to sing. He scribbled a few tunes he wanted to do on a piece of paper and we played them. How did it sound, good actually. As you can see in the 3rd and 4th pictures, I'm wondering what chords to play. In the 5th picture it's Andy on bass, and David on guitar. I can't believe we did it.
So after the rock band, the country band came back on stage for one more set.
Now for some more fun, another rock band took the stage to end the afternoon. It was actually dark at this point. Some neighbors in golf carts drove up to their fence line and watched us play. At the end of the show they flashed their lights in appreciation. In the rock band is James (guitar), Johnny (drums), Tony (vocals), Mo (bass), and Robert (keyboards).
