Ashley wanted to take a riding lesson in the UK. We visited Somerby riding stables. Above are a few pictures of the ring with Amber looking on.
We said hello to a few of the horses, then it was time for Ashley's lesson.
Ashley is on a horse named Retto. Ashley started off slowly trotting and cantering around the ring. After taking off her jacket and getting a drink of water, it was time to pick things up.

More pictures of Ashley going over the jumps. The height was gradually increased to 4 feet. Heather gave instructions telling Ashley to keep moving forward.
After about 45 minutes, the lesson ended. Ashley was exhausted, she had fun and accomplished her goal of having a lesson in the UK. It was one of the highlights of our trip. She did very well considering she had never ridden the horse and this was her first time at this riding stable. Ashley is posing with Heather, a job well done.
